I'm afraid I agree with the alternative sentiment, that is to say that this whole thing is a 'PR hoax'. Kudos to Apple for playing the game and coming out looking like the benevolent and merciful master, humbled by the pleas

This is incredible. I LOVE stuff like this. It makes me so happy that people like this still exist in the world. I say 'still' because I feel like they're a dying breed. The rationale behind everything he's done is laid

You know, actually, this is a fair point. I'm almost ashamed of myself for not being more open-minded. What's better than a hack to tickle a curiosity?

This is interesting. I've had success in the past at running Hy [1] (a Lisp running on Python) on a Raspberry Pi as well. This could be a nice, speedier alternative, however you lose the Python ecosystem. [1] http://hylang.o

I am trying to read between the lines of your comment and I _think_ you get this but I'm going to spell it out anyway: "...fundamental programming principles like OOP." The key word here is "like". OOP is actually f

This response annoys me a little bit. "Why not just use docker?" gets thrown around so much at the moment, as if Docker is the alpha and omega of app deployment. Is it just me? Docker's awesome. I love Docker. But it's n
