The mould issue are intense. I live in the Northern Rivers region. A lot of houses here are situated in forests. These forests are immensely powerful and are fuelled by massive fungal and lichen growths. I got flooded out of my house and to

Pretty silly issue no? What’s the carbon break even point of an ICE car? If our energy generation and manufacturing technology matures for 50 years, how long would it take to break even then? Do you have any idea how far ICE cars have come

When one of my physics class mates told me he was reading topology at the age of 7, I knew I would never make it with my mere hard work. I still love physics but I’m glad I never tried academia. I would have been chewed up

Would love to be able to host this on macOS! Great work though. Will keep an eye on it :)

I can relate. I had a modded dvd drive. Got banned after a year maybe. Loved playing gears online. Then I think it got the red ring? That was the end for me. Only recently got into gaming a bit more now. I still like how consoles are mostly

I’ve only used dd once in my life (not much of a hacker!) but it was mostly useless. Dropbox had some promotion for their new photo storage service, where they were giving away free extra space up to 10gb to encourage you to store your phot

Canned tomatoes? Yikes. If you’re trying to beat premise sauces at least get some local fresh tomatoes and have a go and making it from scratch. The acidic flavour of canned tomatoes is horrible in my opinion compared to fresh tomatoes.

I’d believe it. It’s my understanding that a current iPhone app icon is almost the same resolution as the first Macintosh screen. Crazy times! Have to remember that the old CRT screens took pixelated images and gave the a smooth glowing lo

I don’t understand, my new iPhone 13 came with a usb-c to lightning cable. My new iPad is usb-c too as well as my new kindle and new Sony camera. Even my vape has usb-c! Edit: and my soldering iron!

I’m pretty sure for my 7 port usb-a hub (usb 3) I have to plug it into the wall power too. My max pro doesn’t send enough current to to hub so if I want to to be power stable I have to supply extra power…

I’m Australian and born in 88. I’m really curious where this is. Is this the Brisbane City beach? Being born in Melbourne and participating in the inter city warfare between Melbourne and Sydney, it took me too long to realise how beautiful

I don’t think it’s the electrons moving that matter. It’s the electric fields, which in conducting materials, is approaching the speed of light. The latency you’re thinking of is more related to the speed with which a semiconductor can chan

Agreed. I stopped playing that yesterday when I realised the level for my city had nothing to do with my city. Kind of put me off all Apple Arcade games honestly.

Not sure if the counts. I know it’s a patent and it could be anything. But it talks about two adjacent dies being used if they’re good or being split if there is a defect. https://patents.google.com/patent/US20210217702

I just listened to the latest atp.fm podcast. I think John said that it actually is two adjacent M1 max dies. The Ultra can’t be made from two random working die. They have to physically be adjacent on the wafer. I don’t know if that means

Remind me of Everquest which started in 1999. It has similarly been updated to death over the years and is now free to play. However I still get me ‘classic’ fix through Project 1999 and The Al’Kabor project (for varying definitions of ‘cla
