In my state of Australia, NSW, we have digital IDs we can access through the state services app. I was glad to know I was never required to had my device over. The cops can look but not touch which is great.

Isn’t it a double address like .home.lan or some such?

Kinda. I often read my email on my phone while working on my desktop. (Or visa versa). In these situations, a code is always better. I hate the links personally.

It’s cool knowing that this was developed in Melbourne. I still feel like it’s a little city in little Australia, but I know there’s some crazy talent in town. Thanks for you hard work! Regarding VSTs in a video editor: for doing any dialog

Can confirm that it’s slow. I tried so many different things, different GFX cards while trying to run Windows (xp, 7, 10) on my Mac Pro (2012, 2 x 6 core 3.4ghz, 128gb ram). The only one that runs well in virtual box was XP. Everything else

The thought of websites sending me notifications is reason enough for me to want either an app so that I can easily control it’s notifications, or to just not use the service at all.

Interestingly enough, this is one of the aspects of being a music producer I enjoy! Every plug-in feels like it’s designed to be inspire you. Let’s be honest, an EQ plugin is super basic in what it does to the sound yet we are blessed with

I can highly recommend Reaktor 6 by native instruments! A full virtual DSP program for creating things at different levels of abstraction. It’s the backend they use for a lot of their products and sounds phenomenal. Heaps of tutorials on Yo

I’m running a PreSonus StudioLive 16.4.2 (1st gen) and am stuck on 10.13.6 because I’m pretty sure they didn’t release drivers for 10.14+. It’s a FireWire 400 device. I absolutely love it but because of it, I’m probably never going to upgra

Are the different rates reflected in the prices on the store or does the customer pay the same price irrespective of the cut taken by the platform?

I was in Byron Bay town last Saturday night. I saw a truck with three massive screen billboards driving around (advertising the new alcohol deliver service by Dan Murphys’s...). I couldn’t believe how bright it was driving behind it. How th

When I started making music 10 years ago, I limited myself to using hardware only. Hardware synth, drum machine, mixer, effects etc. It was a great learning experience, which is why I did it. I wanted to understand the fundamentals. 5 years

Is the AT-ART9XA the MM stylus? I’ve heard a bit about the MM stylus, though never used one myself. Just getting into vinyl gear for DJing soon, but will be starting lower end. Especially at 1.3k! What makes that stylus so good?

The interesting thing about vinyl compared to any other format is that not only is it analog, it’s also mechanical! I think that gives the technology an aesthetic that can’t be matched by other analog formats, it also works without electric

My favourite medium ever. Still rocking one in my car, one in my home studio and one in my lounge entertainment unit. Only ceased production in 2019. I’m hoping it has a comeback like vinyl did! Haha but we all know that any medium that had

On a certain level, I think music should be free as in libre. It’s kind of an idea more than anything else. I’m thinking of selling music and then after a certain time (12 months?) it becomes pay what you want. In terms of DRM I hate it and
