With their "cheap printers + expensive ink" model, one would assume they have enough experience to monetize WebOS.

if you haven't launched yet, why not change your name? I understand that there are costs involved, but did you quantify those costs and see if it's possible or not? You don't have to redo everything at once.

Agreed about the ugliness. A simple inductance-based charger would do the trick, but I'm not holding my breath for Apple to adopt that.

Perhaps, but I thought Windows Live Messenger have a bigger user base already. Maybe I'm wrong though.

First of all, congrats. I'm sure it wasn't easy getting to this stage. Now, there are lots of good comments that others have made already. I think the most important ones are the issues with the speed of taking orders and the suggestion to

> The main problem visual programming encounters is the sheer number of options you have when you are entering code in text form. Agreed. So maybe the solution is to adopt a completely different approach to "visual" programming. One tha

what's wrong with IMHO? And how does it somehow make me unworthy of correcting your grammar? You also used "it's" instead of "its" in a couple of places.

My mother tongue is not English, but such silly errors are inexcusable. It takes a second to google the correct form. In fact, "it's self" put me off completely and I never completed the article. So, IMHO, good spelling and grammar are esse

Perhaps you're right. With a smallish company, it's possible for everybody to jump in and do whatever needs to be done. As a company grows, though, this will become impossible. Many a great company in history have suffered spectacular death

Jason seems to imply that managers are useless when he says "We do not have room for people who don't do the actual work". I think this is very naive of him, and a little selfish. He's enjoying the title of "President" which, to me, is a pu

I'm not a designer, but my limited experience with Photoshop et al. is that you really need the precision of a mouse pointer for single-pixel-resolution manipulations. Can someone with more experience chime in and explain whether Photoshop

Thanks. Zynga are the exception rather than the rule. I don't expect my app to go viral like Farmville (but I wouldn't mind if it did!). I've already been all through FB's dev website, but wanted to get some feedback from real users. Thanks

Perhaps you're right. Personally, I would be more interested in comparing actual finished apps, as opposed to meaningless benchmarks.

I don't know if there is much to deduce from these benchmarks. They are good for bragging rights, that's for sure. But that's about it. Note also that while the Xoom is a new product, its Tegra 2 processor is relatively old. NVIDIA first de
