Well that and high quality video. One and only one tangible benefit of this new web is better quality video. Everything else sucks as much or worse than in the days of Altavista and punch the monkey ads.

Looks interesting except for the ps2 keyboard and mouse ports. I'll take a closer look though.

I want to build something similar but with bare metal Lua as an educational computer for kids. For all of the STEM toys on the market none have the magic of a 8 bit machine that boots to Basic. Except in this day and age Basic should be rep

Yeah but Monteral is frigid for 8 months in a year and has so so public transit IMO. It is in Canada though which I dearly love (but not for its weather or its cities).

I did not call him racist so don't put words in my mouth. I said that he sounded like he was scared of Black Americans which I think is rather obvious from what he wrote. Granted I'm not an American and I have no idea how hostile

In those countries it _really_ depends what your job is. If you're a teacher or a bus driver then yes rent is too damn high. If on the other hand, you have a corporate job at a branch of a western company it's extremely cheap. So

Is this your long winded way of saying "I'm scared of black people"? There are plenty of very diverse races living in Europe and nobody is scared of them.

I also heard that lately. But up until the recent run up in prices it was quite the bargain for what you were getting.

Nonsense. There are very walkable and affordable cities with pleasant neighborhoods that don't break the bank in all parts of the world (sans North America). Off the top of my head and from first hand experience: - Warsaw - Glasgow -

I'm in the same boat. I want to try something like Flutter to keep the JS madness at arm's length. Not sure if going that way will make it worse or better though.

Nobody will complete this in minutes. If anything it's a great showcase of how insanely convoluted and onerous web development truly is. In my day we did it with JSP and app servers and groaned about how painful it was with the war fil

There is something magical about train travel for me. I find boarding and riding trains extremely soothing. Flying has the exact opposite effect. It's not entirely rational but that's how it is for me.
