Ah cool, thanks for the link! For others, the short-ish answer is that doing hundreds of SQL queries in response to a request (loading nested timeline elements in their case) in SQLite is fine because of the lack of networking/IPC over

Not sure I understand this point, how does SQLite fix the N+1 query problem? Just by having the data co-located with the app and avoiding the round-trip latency hit? If so, I'd argue you still have N+1 problems, you just won't not

Not OP, but my current home had a dedicated 50A/240V circuit because the previous owner did glass work and had a massive electric kiln. I can't imagine it was cheap to install, but I've used it for beefy, energy hungry server

I use RideWithGPS for this reason. It also has social features (if you want them), but making everything private is three dropdowns on a single settings page. It also has a great route builder.

I use the Programming, Forums, PDFs, Recipes, and Small Webs lenses pretty regularly, though I haven't tried making my own lens yet. The 'Programming' lens is probably what you'd want for your Python script. Note: I work

Practically, its not a problem as you can always create a privileged container and mount the root filesystem into it. I have an alias I use for exactly such things.

Yeah not sure what OP meant, it has a "passthrough" mode for composing, basically every key combo is passed to the editor (Helix in my case, very similar to Vim), and control is returned to aerc when you close the editor

Seconding this, YouTube Music is uncannily good at making radios from songs. It's always what I'm looking for, and when it does branch out, it's usually introducing me to a new jam.
