I think, even if for the pure marketing of it, one of Deere’s competitors should seize the opportunity to offer “open” equipment. I’m not a farmer, but I did grow up fixing my own cars and such… I can’t imagine any “killer feature” farm equ

Ah. #linuxwarez on efnet was where I spent my late teens. Anyone know of any log services that’re still running that have archives back that far?

You beat me to it, and I couldn’t agree more. I’m not sure where I personally stand on legalization of hard drugs, but this idea that its like the economics that’s the issue is absurd. Playing with drugs is risking Groundhog Day and giving

I did this inside idos on an iPad before Apple approved (then later revoked) the ability to drop binaries in the emulator. iDos (dosbox) shipped with a compiler and ability to map a serial port to a tcp socket. So I implemented an XMODEM re

I’ve used apps for years to get this functionality. Great to know. Between this and enabling more emacs-ey keybindings has made life so much better.

I’ve always been curious about whether it’s possible to have a collision when your input is 256 bits or less (in the case of sha256)… I even emailed Bruce Schneier. I got a polite response that he didn’t have time to look at it, which indic

I’ve been tempted recently to drop this on a pi and hook it up to an old oled I have sitting around (that has minor burnin) for status-monitory things. One cool side effect is that because it’s always shifting pixels, it won’t cause further
