I’m curious how do pixel phones and pixelbooks running ChromeOS compare with iPhone and MacBooks running macOS in terms of security? I know in terms of privacy, Google is worse due to built in telemetry (and cloud based chromeos). If there

There is paperkey that generates far fewer and better human readable characters (it removes metadata publicly known). Have you tested that the OCR software can read a scanned version of that PGP public key?

OPNSense runs very well on their boxes. You can even have it with Core boot. I think they should upgrade their NICs to 2.5G and 10G though. 1G is no longer future proof.

No experience, but the company’s hiring practices seem a scam to some extent. They pay little, usually fooling inexperienced people, like, as the commenter above said, that they are sending people to space, and stuff like that. Funny, you o

I mean in terms of the compromised software distribution system by governments or similar. There are products like encrypted phones. They are advertised as secure locked down devices designed for people who have high security requirements.

It’s worth noting that people don’t pay for a lot of online services, such as access to information in platforms such as reddit. Advertisement is also loathed by public. It’s a tough business, and there isn’t all that much to trickle down.

If the vault is open, a script could read and save all passwords. Export is a user convenience feature. This is a vulnerability that requires the plaintext, hence a bit of a joke! Or am I missing something? (I didn’t read past the initial p

I guess your response indicates that the DNS records are not logged. I thought some metadata is logged, at least for security or to fight abuse, but probably for more reasons. But I’m not sure.
