If offered 4 days a week (8 hours/4 days) it sounds like a lot of people would join a new company. I would jump in a heartbeat. Why aren't smaller startups already using this tactic to lure away "talent"?

Those 6 weeks where you're studying full-time unpaid seems like a lot of time to me. That's 250 hours that you can't spend on what is actually important in your life (maybe friends, family, relationships).

If they're giving away money effectively because they're guilty that seems fine. While they could give away more if they sold that loft, the important thing is that they are giving away most of the trust. There needs to be a story
