To be fair, they came in with some requirements that I don't think anyone else had at the time, and even today aren't in any mainstream ones afaik. I think the biggest difference was around providing security and stability barrier

Mostly a good complete list... One thing I'd take issue with though is no clean flux for hand soldering. "No clean" formulations are almost universally designed for reflow oven temperature profiles and may not actually meet

The unihertz titan series is decent for a more modern option. It's a blackberry style keyboard instead of the slide out type, which is a bit of a shift, but still pretty usable.

It's not common that they miss those timed delivery windows, in my experience... but when they do their systems don't seem to be able to handle it well and the delay is far worse than it would have been if it _weren't_ a time

Not a full password reset, but I've seen this on some sites even recently for 2FA... more than one poorly implemented SMS 2FA prompt has asked me what number I want to receive a confirmation code at to prove it's me. :facepalm:
