The website is completely unusable on iPhone and on iPad. It doesn't scroll, jerks back in place, parts are blank and empty... looks really strange.

If you count reddit as the news, the whole world is pretty much on the verge of collapse.

Shenanigans are forthcoming, guaranteed. I had 30+ domains with them, a client of 20 years and a true fanboy, referred dozens of friends. I wouldn't touch them with a long pole now. Moved all to Porkbun and INWX.

Kinda hard providing service to X nationals while hiding in basement of your office building because X is attacking the very city you are in. Namecheap had exactly that. I'd say the ban was 100% justified.

Doom was released (as shareware, upgradable to the full version) after a year in development.

That's probably a better question for Romero. Unless you are interested in Carmack's take on Descent's engine.

> The shareware relase of Doom had four months of development This is incorrect. Doom took a year. This was literally in the first answer Carmack gives on the Twitch stream yesterday - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QvAkaJ

Do you destroy your comments that have replies though? If you do, that's a fairly nasty and thoughtless thing to do and I would strongly encourage you to revise your approach to commenting and/or privacy.

Wouldn't the most obvious solution be to charge Apollo users for the API access? This will spread the $ load down to peanuts per user and be similar to the original ($1/mo) WhatsApp pricing model.
