it works if there is low traffic, as soon as you got bigger transactions or the amount of concurrent writes becomes heavier, you will at some point (even with WAL enabled) get "database locked" issues. You can work around that on

unfortunately its been maintained by only one dev which seems to have turned its back onto tech and has fanished from the web entirely[0]. I think its been forked since and maintained by a small community[1]. I liked the concept and used it

if one wants to play with virtual tape libraries, quadstorvtl is a nice solution to that: https://quadstor.com/ unfortunately they dont seem to have an open vcs for the source... (other than really old versions on github) o

yes, same for cxfreeze etc. It really comes with a cost. If you have mid ranged applications which might spawn several processes of the executable this becomes really problematic (cpu usage, memory usage).
