Very true. I wouldn't be surprised if see more patches after this one. Based on their initial response time they seem to be taking this as seriously as it warrants. Hopefully they move away from this model eventually - it won't be

Serious props to Microsoft for getting the fix out the door so quickly. I'm glad that they took this seriously because this is a major vulnerability.

I would imagine a very significant portion if the Marina district just turning into rubble unfortunately. I'm hoping this doesn't happen until buildings have a chance to improve even more.

Did you read the article? At the bottom it said that they have both increased the key size to 11 or 12 characters and deployed methods for preventing the brute forcing of these URL's. I think that it's safe to assume that one of t

This really sounds like a "theoretical" best. Practically this sounds like a huge burden on developers.

I'd actually consider that an improved experience. Sure, the sender using the improperly created personal mailbox will be inconvenienced if people ask about it. However, the actual user of gmail benefits from this.

Seeing as Google has one of the most powerful computing networks in the world, I bet it's more that they can just throw resources at it until it's fast enough. This helps justify the trade off between speed and ease of use.

Good to know about both of those. It's fairly ironic that it uses up a significant portion of disk space for a "safe" copy of the original OS that doesn't actually work..

1. Windows 10 does offer a lot of performance improvements. Even if you don't like the new interface, under the hood it's much faster. Even Windows 8 was a lot faster. 2. I think there is an option to ignore individual updates. Yo

This also allows you to have access to Google Play Music which is currently $9.99 / mo. This rocks.

The best part is that it's wrapped in with Google Play Music. So I don't have to pay anything extra for more stuff? Works for me.

Often I find that it's not the issues the parties disagree on that I need to worry about, it's those that get passed quickly and quietly through Congress.

Another thing too - I've found that other advertising platforms' ads are much more obnoxious. Google does a pretty decent job at keeping their adds from popping up in your face with technicolor, which I can appreciate.

They might end up with more users, but I've noticed that the content on Reddit is consistently declining in quality. Kind of worrying to me. Smaller subreddits might be enough to save the site though.

There are many applications of this stuff outside of Android though. I agree that it's a little weird for it not to be incorporated in AOSP, but it could be used on Chrome OS. Heck, maybe even iOS? I think Google is just trying to keep

Well, one thing to consider is that "natively-integrated" applications are slowly losing ground to cloud-based applications. Look at the apps for Chrome - they run on Chromebooks, Mac, Windows, and Linux.

One thing people have to remember about Clarkson is that he grew up in an entirely different generation. It's not an excuse, but it's plausible that the man simply messed up. In the unfortunate era he was brought up in, the word w

I think the barrier to this sort of behavior being more common in the masses is that it's difficult to make these sort of connections. If Google is basically able to say hey - your neighbor down the block drives to within a 5 minute wa

I found this article really interesting. I've really enjoyed my recent experiences telecommuting. The main difference in my life, though, is that I'm close to the office. This allows me to go in part of the week and work from home
