I'm kind of amazed that a story like this can _still_ elicit negative responses here. Maybe the gov't should provide this, maybe not. Either way: it doesn't right now, but Larry Page just did. I think that is pretty cool. Bravo.

Actually 13,000 per individual, so 26,000 to the household if married. And 52,000 if given from one couple to another (think parents to child+spouse.) (CPA in Texas)

I don't think someone that has "no experience with html/css" would care or understand what a "functioning cross-browser compatible layout" is. Just my opinion though, I've been wrong before!

Can someone explain the concept or value of multiple instances on this? If an app is getting hit pretty hard can you just turn on another instance, albeit with less ram? Do you have to write your code in such a way to support it being run o

Could you elaborate on what those advantages may be, for those of us who don't quite understand the difference?

This is just a guess, but since the iPhone 4 currently doesn't support Siri, I doubt the 3GS would.

Agreed, let the YC thing go. Be "Browserling - Growing Success with 100 Customers!" instead of "Browserling - YC Reject". Congrats on hitting the 100 mark!

I can only speak to my industry (public accounting) in my location (Texas, US), but there are a line of qualified candidates ready to fill my seat should I choose to quit. Or should I choose to ask for a leave of absence.

I know this comment wasn't meant glibly, but "taking a leave of absence" isn't usually an option. FYI.

I've just finished the article and I must say, my feelings are mixed. I'm reading along and it reads like an epic tale where the hero will surely win in the end, it's both mysterious and exciting. I got caught very caught up, wondering what

I don't know what "12pts paper" feels like, but from the image it looks almost like cardstock. Are these printed on fairly heavy paper?

Is feeling stupid so bad? Must everything be fun and game-ish these days? Hard things are hard; learning to code is hard, I'll give you that. Maybe I've just been taken aback recently by the number of "learn to code" sites recently, but if

The code may be something you could find on Nettuts but I think the point is to challenge the belief that we should all "just use jQuery". Not to show you how, but rather to explain why. "How's" are easily Googleable, "why's" are a little h

The first course I went to was actually a book. Maybe move the books to a totally separate section? I was excited about learning about designing visual interfaces only to be presented with an amazon link.

This is not a snide comment, I'm truly curious. What is the point of "An [x] parser/interpreter/compiler written in [x]." I've seen one now for JS and this one for PHP. I lean more toward the sponge learning [1] side of HN, so forgive me if

I'm sure that there is a great service behind this link, but I completely ignored it at first because of the "your doctor doesn't want you to see this" message. Seems like the acai (sp?) berry ads that are scattered all over the internet.

Congratulations on launching! I too am a big fan of the Seinfeld chaining method. Just a minor note: on your home page it says "Don't Talk" but then there is a line through it. To me, that means "Don't don't talk", or "talk". Am I being rid
