Europe should be on Europe's side. Not be the lapdog of the United States. But that's unfathomable for many people. > The current war in the Middle East was started by Hamas on October 7th. Yes and history before that doesn

I think you're mistaken about the Africa situation. France participated in the NATO Libya operations to preserve the dominance of the CFA Franc in Africa. https://web.archive.org/web/20190410234309/https:/

Well. Yes but gas tax also goes for road maintenance which EVs don’t pay. Some states have increased the registration fees for EVs to counter this.

Agreedish. In the US I don’t think I’d support higher taxes for non EVs because cars are unfortunately a necessity here and EVs are (mostly artificially through govt policy) expensive. But yes to your point of ICE cars suck. They’re so much

This is why I want hardware to be open for me to install whatever else I want on the damned phone. This hardware is too good to be wasted.

Great thing we’re not a democracy then. Our next president is likely going to be someone who none of us actually voted for in a primary.

The US doesn’t need to fine anyone. They have full control over what Apple and Google allow on the AppStore. They also have full control over the infrastructure TikTok uses in the US.

This same exact crowd was cheering on the US banning TikTok. Fascinating how the same folks (yes I looked at the history of some of the people here) have a completely different take with this situation.
