Ever thought about starting your own company? I'm a software engineer of 24 years. Maybe there's some synergy here. Feel free to reach out to me on LinkedIn (in my profile).

Agree - the whole "he's great" vs "he's evil and a con" just gets old. Everyone is a complex mixture of both. My dad loved reading and sharing technical subjects with me and is probably part of the reason why I

They're not remotely comparable problem sets. Tesla's generalized driving algorithm vs Waymo's cherry-picked routes and ideal weather. Tesla is winning. And the gap is getting wider.

If you move it in-house, I would recommend changing your application process to include a video portion. Unless they can point to a long track record of open source. All engineers are utilizing GPT to write their resumes/cover letters.

Plandex and Github's Copilot Workspace are very similar. You could draw inspiration from each other. I tweeted about Copilot Workspace the other day. https://twitter.com/aantix/status/1819794837375263228

Is there an agent framework that lives up to the hype? Where you specify a top-level objective, it plans out those objectives, it selects a completion metric so that it knows when to finish, and iterates/reiterates over the output unti

A valid accompanying test would ensure this? You’d be extracting optimization candidates by running the test suite. You re-run the test suite after changes to ensure they still pass.
