Good. Screw them. Now the evil a-hole caption will hang over their logo in my mind forever. Probably others on HN. Even if this damages their brand in only a small way, it's a real cost.

God I miss turning on the radio to hear KCSM now that I live in Austin. I programmed years of my life away listening to that station in a crappy rented room in Sunnyvale after college, and loved every bit of it. So grateful they're streami

Spot on. Definitely not any more of a premature optimization than usability, since SEO is usability for bots. So unless you really do not care about the crawlability and understandability of your site/app, you should be optimizing for bots

Fair point, presumably "income" would just be earned income and dividends. The challenge is that when you change the rate, people change their behavior. Here's some interesting data showing the historical relationship between behavior and c

not precisely what you asked, but a useful approximation: "If the IRS grabbed 100 percent of income over $1 million, the take would be just $616 billion. That’s only a third of this year’s deficit." [2012] -- http://www.forbes.com/sites/da

Definitely agree. It's a great counter to the narrative that everything is getting worse (China's GDP overtaking the US, inflation, higher taxes, etc). The things that really matter to building a business are still awesome. We're incredib

Have we learned nothing from Twitter. FB's ad revenue model is still in its infancy, so I wouldn't assume any part of their ecosystem is safe.
