I don't think map is sufficient, apart from the trivial example where you bind a single generator. Even in python, these behave as bind? Or I didn't understand what you mean :)

I heard the original idea was, a single prequel and a single sequel. Instead studio supposedly wanted to cash-in, so there was anime-prequel anthology, a short prologue film two sequels themselves and a companion game. And I do think there

Talk to your accountant. I would say, that for people wanting i.e. 3 day weekend, or 6 hour days, agreeing on the 4/5 or 3/4 salary is reasonably simple (I even managed to use this in my salary negotiation, where they offered me X

I don't think there is a general one anymore. The original "wouldn't it be better if we just passed data around through simple composable functions" kinda won, you have first-class anonymous functions with support for cl

Depends what you want and what you value. Do you really need types? I did work in Clojure and I think having good support for immutable data-structures got me 80% of the benefits of functional programming. Similarily, maybe you are sold on

When I was in high-school and college I did this a few times for several months. Pattern I usually fell into is reading a chapter of Proverbs or Ecclesiastes in the morning (to get my boost for this weird spiritual nihilistic stoicism) and

To be honest, I don't really remember how long the exposistion times were. I assume we used less than hour, more than minute and I wonder if I can found our old lab-notes :) Photograms-idea sound really fun as well, and probably a bit

What I tried to do was buying Onyx Boox Nova Pro [1] It is a fairly decent ebook reader, with decent PDF support, stylus and a nice note-taking app. The interesting thing is, it has bluetooth-support and runs Android 6 (heavily modified, it

Well, with Arabic writing you are not supposed to write wowels, so when I attempted to learn it, I mostly read the shape of words at once. But I didn't really get beyond 'This is Rami and that is his book' :)

My first language! Learned in 2001? Especially the form-builder was really nice! Later on (2006-maybe?) I preffered writing in java, i.e. generics and for-each and checked-exceptions were awesome in my opinion, I think I solved like half of

I do think you need well specified data. My experience is that hierarchy is more trouble than worth. And I did like the fun of trying to figure out a hierarchy for existing system. But after a year in use, I woul look at the hierarchy with

SmallTalk would beg to differ. Javascript as well. And I worked with large, fairly OO-oriented codebases in JS, and it was fine and I didn't miss inheritance.

I would say Rust, Go and maybe even Nim are fairly Object Oriented. Only thing that is going away are class hierarchies as a method to structure programs, because it seems they are more trouble than worth?

Not from the resentment angle. From time to time I wonder if me having my daughter when 25 years old ruined some enterpreneurship future for me, but then I remember, that when I was in my 20-ties, I had many dreams about starting projects,
