> Doing 4 sprints over 2 months to make a prototype That’s a lot of effort for a prototype that you should be throwing away even if it does the right thing! Are you sure you’re not gold plating your prototypes?

I think you missed the point. AI chat is not compatible with the solitary focused programming session.

In my case I couldn’t get Rust working and ran into strange compilation issues with linker errors with the MacOS standard libraries. Tried installing them from Nix which fixed some problems but caused other ones. Everything just worked outs

How many of them actually work though? If you end up having to go fix upstream packages then having a tool manage your environment is not useful since you still have to understand the domain. With Nix I usually ended up in a situation where

Quickly skimmed through the Flox site and it looks like it’s based on Nix. The problem with the competitor https://www.jetify.com/devbox and most likely in Flox is that Nix makes trivial environment setup really easy but w

If you can’t verify it then that’s a rumor . The world doesn’t owe you an explanation and you can’t be informed of everything.

There’s a world of difference between blindly trusting an LLM and using it to generate clues for further research. You wouldn’t write a legal argument based on what some random stranger told you, would you?

The sane way to solve that problem is to hire people in different time zones to get coverage. Some still need to do weekends but even those are not the same in every country (e.g. Israel).

How does having such a large surplus that you’re an exporter of food jive with national security? It sounds like they already produce more than enough. Exposing food production entirely to market forces is, as you point out, a bad idea.

Why are you treating vegetarianism as the alternative to red meat? You can drastically reduce the “redness” of your diet by eating chicken and fish. Even pork is less “red” though I’m not sure if it counts as red meat for this study.
