I have used that approach before with sentry. It was a non-issue. It depends on nature of the project of course, we had a system that was running every second so if it failed it generated a lot of data..

that depends on the sampling rate no? I would much rather have a rich log record sampled at 1% than more records that dont contain enough info to debug..

I wonder how much the open status server allocation plays a role in this case - they tested from 6 different location but its not clear if fpr example openstatus servers are in closer datacenters.

It will get adopted, eventually we will have more accurate weather forecasts. Thats good for anything that depends on weather - e.g. energy consumption and production, transportation costs...
