Racket may be too strong of a word, and no I don't expect Amazon to hold inventory for free. However, charging people to "dispose" of inventory (ie. sell for their own profit) is a bit shady.

None of those things are funded by Income Tax. Roads for instance are funded by gasoline taxes and other DoT levies. The income tax basically only funds: Interest on the debt, and Entitlement programs (welfare, etc).
