It seems that JS MVC frameworks change every year, maybe they decided that asking questions on the flavour-of-the-month is not an indicator? Would expect some JS questions though.

Your thought process is linear. Try to model the consequences. 20 yeas old people will be considered kids and that's it. Otherwise you should opt for euthanasia because 10 year olds have a hard time competing with you today.

Maybe most people are not capable of understanding the possibilities of a strong AI? It's not like we will just have a nice sounding personal assistant.

Ageing is a genetic disease. It has to be cured. We evolved to adapt to specific environment. Now that we are changing this environment we must change ourselves as well. Everyone should be given an option to die but it should be just one of

The long-term plan is to avoid being locked into crappy languages such as JS and HTML/CSS and give developers more freedom.

Yes there was, people refused to use a crappy script language but now they pretty much have too :(.

Many people don't want to care about types and correctness, they just want to be able to hack quickly in dynamic/weak languages. Future maintenance is someone else's responsibility,

Keep up the good work with asm.js! It would be nice to see more apps developed in C++ for web in 2014.

Yes, I talked to Ukrainian developers and many of them care about code quality. It's a relatively small community but a very strong one.

"IMHO work quality is severely underrated in India, everything just needs to be done, the end quality does not matter, it should just work, that's enough" - this fact about Indian software development is well-known throughout

We build those kind of projects and our team is successful with C#. Perhaps we just know a thing or two about decoupling on all levels. С# comes from the world that brought us Reactive Extensions and TPL. If you call runtime generics, conti

That is a refreshingly sober point of view. Blaming frameworks is easy. Speaking of technical debt is hard.

In game development .NET/Mono is becoming seriously cool now - look at Unity and MonoGame. It's hard to walk away from C# because it's one of the best languages combining most paradigms and both static and dynamic type system
