It is wrong. The new/old skill is reverse engineering. If the majority of the code is generated by AI, you'll still need people with technical expertise to make sense of it.

And who's to say CEOs actually know what they're doing? If anything, considering that most companies fail, relying on the opinions of a few cherry-picked CEOs doesn't hold much weight IMHO. > While there is no direct evide

The kind of things I see mostly produced by these tools are landing pages, example dashboards and simple utilities like calculators and other simple stuff. There is certainly a space for these but nothing ground breaking that was not possib

I commented on the original discussion a few days ago but I will do it again. Why is this such a big deal? This library is not even that interesting. It is very straightforward task I expect most programers will be able to pull off easily.

IMHO this guide should have been called "a theoretical guide for building agents". In practice, you cannot build agents like that if you want them to do useful things. Also, the examples provided are not only not practical but pot

From the marketing page it does not feel any different than a browser extension. I don't know. Besides, a browser extension is actually more useful given it could theoretically provide access to other models too.

I mean ok, but why is this surprising? If the executable is not found the model could simply use whatever else is available to do what it wants to do - like using other interpreted languages, sh -c, symlink, etc. It will eventually succeed

Obviously this should not be taken as a representative case and I will caveat that the problem was not trivial ... basically dealing with a race condition I was stuck with for the past 2 days. The TLDR is that all models failed to pinpoint

On a tangent, I get the feeling that the more senior you are, the less likely you are to end up using one of these VIDEs. If you do use any coding assistants at all, it will mostly be for the auto-complete feature - no 'agent mode'

IMHO people want to interact with agents that do things not with models that chat. And agents by definition are specialised which means a specific model and Mistral might not be good for all types of tasks just like the top of line models a

While I am rooting for Mistral, having access to a diverse set of models is the killer app IMHO. Sometimes you want to code. Sometimes you want to write. Not all models are made equal.

IMHO, N8n isn't great if you care about security. It's not that the tool itself is inherently insecure - it's more about how users are encouraged to use it. Nearly all workflows built using N8n that I've seen face some k

On a related note, I'm not sure when it became "ok" to leave production credentials scattered across your system in configuration files. So many MCP server examples encourage this pattern, and inevitably, it's going to c
