Yep. Google did it with their search and now it’s just what makes the world turn. And they have to be disingenuous about it or else people wouldn’t use it. I think it’s pretty plain and simple - realise this is the case, then vote with your

Differential analysers often had components which you would connect to model ODEs. I suppose it is like an FPGA but they weren’t programmable It would be cool if analog computers could be miniaturised as digital computers were. Then maybe t

The shape and construction of the gates and transistors changed. Minimum feature size ceased to correlate with density/performance in some senses. This scheme has been somewhat arbitrary since about 20nm or so afaik, but expectations a

Just have a a look through /r/all and compare to what it was before. Good moderation essentially led to well curated content. At the moment more subreddits contribute in my opinion worse content

Considering you walk around and don’t have a problem with it, I’d wager that putting a more realistic walk model into a game and changing the control scheme to be a bit more natural would lead to a learnable system for control that would ac

Remember than hedonism is not necessarily about all of those rich pleasures. It’s a philosophy. And you are most likely surrounded by people like yourself, so you probably can’t see it. I see plenty of regular people who are driven by feeli

The folks at the higher end of the wage spectrum lose negotiating power too. I assume that outliers skew high, hence average wage gets suppressed. I’d be more interested in median wage data/trend, which didn’t seem to be in that paper.

It’s not that bad. Fossil fuel burn is actually much worse. I used to think this as I thought buying used cars would be a great help but the break even point for the extra cost of building an entire vehicle is something like 2 years of driv
