i don't want to focus too much on why i think you're being downvoted but i would say it's probably because your message came across as quite reductive. > engineers don't work on something that's useful for everyd

the PWA experience is still not so great on iOS. no push notifications, limited service worker support, etc. the only realistic solution for many businesses is sadly a native app.

i've only been using it for a little bit, but here goes: * unlike Notion, it's one workspace per instance. makes sense, but worth noting as using workspaces as for organisational purposes won't work so well here. * for person

this is the only thing that stops me from using Notion, too. just downloaded it and it looks like it would change my life... except i don't own the data. right now i'm trying out Outline [1] which has an option for self hosting. [

i don't know specifically about Life360 as we use Find My (apple's) in our family, but if everyone in your family trusts each other it can potentially be a life-saver. i've never stalked any of my family using it, i only use

Yet another reason to move away from Instagram. I’m toying with using RSSHub + ttrss to get content from my favourite Instagram accounts in my RSS reader. I hope this doesn’t break that.

Zigbee is used all the time in smart lights, plugs, doorbells, temperature sensors and the such. It's a very popular standard.

I use Comic Sans as my font for closed captions. I'm not dyslexic, but I actually find it way easier and quicker to read than something like Helvetica. But I would never ever use it in a design.

It sounds super common in the US. In the UK, we either settle with Messenger (ugh, but at least it's cross-platform) or WhatsApp.

Yeah, the feel of the butterfly mechanism is subjectively excellent. I can type faster on it than even my mech keyboard at home, which is a very impressive feat. But my MacBook is going in for its second keyboard repair in a year soon, so..
