The problem is that there currently is no iPad app for Google+ so we're forced to choose between the scaled up iPhone app, a stretched mobile layout on the site or the only partially functional desktop layout.

I started working on my personal site today and I've been using Jekyll for it to take advantage of GitHub pages, it's fantastically useful for someone like me who already keeps all their essays in markdown and knows their way around HTML an

Just thought I'd share my WIP port of Bootstrap to Sass, it's probably going to change a bit as I plan to make the styles for forms and such work with Rails' default generated HTML, but it's worth a look. http://frogbot.github.com/sassy-bo

Agreed, but effects like this are not style, they are a cheap veneer applied to otherwise poorly thought out designs. Fashionable kitsch integrated into otherwise unoriginal, uninspired designs.

I can't help but feel that emulating the iOS springboard in an app is simply confusing for the end user. Even I sometimes get confused by them, a common case being hitting the home button when reorganising icons and being unexpectedly sent

Note that it does have the shutter button on top, so that should help the user orient it correctly. Also I don't think a big screen is that necessary on a camera like this, it's uses seem pretty minimal, it's essentially only used as a view

Apple certainly does a lot of experimentation, but their approach differs greatly from Google's. The main reasoning behind Google Labs as far as I can determine is to expose projects to the broader world and determine which are best through

Those using MultiMarkdown[1], which this app seemingly doesn't support, may be interested in the MultiMarkdown Composer app[2] that should be out within a month or so. It's being worked on by the (very) active developer of MultiMarkdown and

Marco has actually stated that he has 4.0 pretty much ready to ship as soon as iOS 5 comes out. However due to being built against the 5.0 SDK he can't release it any earlier than that.
