I'll chime in here as I'm currently working on an app that uses MapKit extensively. MKMapViews work in pretty much the same way as they did in iOS 5, no breaking changes. The one thing that did break in my case was the feature of my app tha

I got the precise opposite impression. The keyboard is first and foremost a tool for creation, for writing in the medium of prose, code or in other textual mediums. When simply consuming content on the iPad I never find myself in want of a

PeepCode[1] has been doing just this lately, they've done a really great job too, I've learnt a lot watching them. [1]: https://peepcode.com/

As a fellow Australian the pennies aren't what I found most bizarre about US and Canadian currency, I more often found myself getting tripped up by the fact that listed prices in US and Canadian stores never include sales tax.

I ported a theme called Tricolre across which is much more subdued, the pull request[1] just got accepted a few minutes ago. Hopefully I can get a few more themes done, they're very simple to create. The joy of open source is that if there'

Very nice, although I'd say the icon for numbered lists could be better; right now it simply looks like a chunkier version of the bulleted list button.

Having used the new iPad I did notice that scrolling felt more responsive[1], but that's just as a result of having a more powerful GPU onboard. [1]: Although not to the extent of that Microsoft demo posted a week or two ago.

This would be really great as an addition to the icons that already ship with Twitter Bootstrap, something like that would really speed up the adoption of this as a standard.

I'm not a Gmail user so I'm not sure how well it works, but I thought Gmail's Priority Inbox was built to solve precisely this problem. How intelligent it is at determining what gets the priority label I don't know but at least someone's pu
