I've never heard of anyone choosing RHEL for those use cases.

I think Tensordock and vast.ai are cheaper than AWS. Lambda labs can be as well, but they seem to only have reserved instances now.

ollama maintains a registry of ollama compatible llms. I don't see any indication that they use docker for that registry, but I could have overlooked something. I also don't see any docker/podman containers running when using

Wait... did they collect sentiment based on which was more convincing and use this for RLHF to train their board replacement model?

It seems like they are already producing >12/week. It won't take a lot of production expansion to hit a number like that. At the very least, they'll pass the Hummer EV.

The thing that baffles me there is that the original group behind this had a semi truck background. And surely its earliest routes were NV<>CA, along with the checkpoint at the border? It seems like either it isn't as big of an i

I think Ford only sold ~3,700 Lightnings in October. I bet Tesla is selling CT at a much faster rate than that by February. Of course, that ultimately depends on price and what trims are available.

That's exactly my point, though. Lots of people die from coal mining as an industry. That is largely invisible. The health effects on the population at large are also significant, but largely invisible. Radiation? Also measurable, but

If you make the human write the code on a whiteboard without a python interpreter, they are likely to occasionally make up libraries that don't exist. The LLM is operating similarly in a lot of cases. It doesn't have an IDE with i

I've heard reports of very high drain on cellular, but tbh it isn't something that I've noticed in real world usage. Maybe some of that is the difference between the P8 and P8Pro. I'd guess high modem usage isn't as

Couldn't you say all of the same things about coal? The risks are largely invisible, people can't assess them, and people definitely die due to its use. Maybe there needs to be another criteria. Something like, "when the haza

Yeah, seriously... a little more speed and 7b quantized LLMs would be almost usable. I guess that could be nice? :) But in practice, performance is mostly being wasted on phones right now.

I don't really have a problem with 8GB for the base model. There are plenty of people buying Macs, including Pro versions, that won't need more than that. My issue is the heavy price increase for higher RAM amounts. A $2500 machin
