They are already deploying the kinds of models talked about here in their FSD beta software (along with regular FSD/AP software) and they run just fine on current FSD hardware in the cars with acceptable latency. Just because you need

Samsung gets a bad rap when it comes to software imo. There used to be a time when it was perhaps well deserved but that was a LONG time ago. Samsung's browser is hand's down the best Android browser I have used in years and conti

I'm the opposite. I can't believe that Finder is the best Apple can do for a file explorer. It is an absolute abomination and after 4 years of using my MBP I still hate it passionately every time I have to use it. I agree that pre

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, Apple refuses to make laptop docks for their own "Pro" line of laptops, which means you have to resort to 3rd party docks. And I'm not using cheap docks here. I've tried several $200-

The Yankee players all had J&J vaccines, so not the mRNA variety.

Yes, All of the Yankee players who were vaccinated had J&J. Also, most were completely asymptomatic and no one had serious symptoms. All-in-all, it was a success story for vaccines.

This is an infuriating bug that impacts my 16" MBP. Everytime I plug into a thunderbolt dock I have a 50-50 chance of a hard reboot due to Kernel panic. There have been threads about this issue for a couple of years now and nothing has

I gotta say, I am very impressed by what I've seen with the F-150. It's clear that a LOT of thought has gone into this product and Ford clearly understands their target audience extremely well. There are so many nice features that

I know you are heavily downvoted, and my experience is anecdotal, but I proudly bought a Ford Fusion sedan in 2010 (my first "new" car) and I have had nothing but trouble with its electrical systems. It burns out lights every year

I dunno, self-driving is an interesting computer-vision / machine-learning problem and it is far more interesting than 90% of the stuff a lot of your FAANG companies are spending R&D dollars on. For anyone working in the field, the

Yes, but still no 4K, HDR or 5.1 audio IIRC. Streaming on PCs is just inferior and at this point clearly intentionally so. I was waiting forever for "native" apps for all the streaming providers on the Windows store so I could jus

Things have evolved a lot in the last 10 years. I've had an HTPC for that long as well, and it has its place but if you spend a bit more than the $20 for the cheapest streaming sticks, any of the modern streaming devices are extremely

I have an HTPC hooked up to my LG C9, but an HTPC really is not a great option for streaming content if you have a reasonably good TV and/or sound system. You lose HDR and in most cases 4K streaming if you try to view content via a web

Depends on the TVs obviously. The C9/CX OLEDs have pretty powerful processors and are snappier in my experience in comparison to the cheaper streaming sticks.

The "problem" with the LG OLEDs (I own the 77C9) is that webOS is actually quite good, the interface + processor snappy, and the magic remote quite good for effortlessly switching between your favorite streaming services or Plex.

I still don't get the criticism of Pytorch. If anything, you can get the best of both worlds in many way with their API supporting on GPU and on CPU operations in exactly the same ways.
