If Google just made us pay for this service (individually without having to create a Google Apps account) all our feers might go away. Why are business SO reluctant for a standards "pay for what you get" business model?

People (on average) are nervous, anxious, etc during an interview. I don't really care how they "naturally" react in that situation as THAT situation isn't day-to-day (at least not in the software companies I've spent my time) so I'm almos

Awesome, now bring it to market. Until then, as a consumer, I could care less about Microsoft. All their amazing R&D didn't make W8, their phones, or their tablets any more enjoyable or purchasable.

I respectfully disagree. I used the word Jihad as it best reflects how personal it becomes to some people. It's not a matter of taste, but a matter of "being". My main point, which clearly wasn't well articulated, was STEP YELLING AT ME. I

<<nothing related to what you said, just a general comment>> If more people just bought what they liked, shut the hell about it, and didn't rage jihad against the opposite platform, the internet would be WAY better.

I hear ya. It's all about balancing short term vs long term. My general reaction to Craftsmanship is they pull toward an equally unhealthy end of the spectrum. Only focusing on quality is equally as bad as never focusing on quality.

My grandfather, who is a master by rank in the union, always told me, "there is no 'right' way. It's a matter of communicating and balancing the trade-offs".

It's definitely a tool if you want "a" data point "really fast". I won't argue against that. However, I would use it for "just" that and nothing more. I wouldn't use it to drive the entire decision. Per your point of disagreement, and
