I also had major issues trying to stream A.P. Bio on NBC's streaming website. I wanted to see the new show with Glenn Howerton. The video was really laggy, skipped dialog due to lag jitters, and served up 15 minutes of ads for 22 minut

Greetings! Thank you for the kind words. It's really good to see more developers getting into the space of writing open-source platforms for services. I believe there is room for much growth in this field. I'll take a deeper dive

Webtask is a solid and well designed product. Kudos to Tomasz Janczuk and his team at Auth0. The only thing I don't like about Webtask is that it's not an open-source project, so there is no way for me to run their backend on my o

There is also https://hook.io/ which is a similar open-source platform that's been running for three years and has over 142 million deployments. I'm using this service everyday, also I created it.

We really need to hear from NPM why this happened. There is currently no way for a user to remove their own packages or unpublish packages anymore from the public NPM API ( a change following the `left-pad` incident ). This leads me to beli

I've been producing digital music since 2001. It took me three years of part-time tinkering to get something produced that remotely sounded like a song. It takes time to learn. FruityLoops is a great start to learn the basics of audio

The last time I spoke with Google HR / recruitment was in 2015 and it was a mess. Halfway through the process of doing eight interviews I was transferred to a new recruitment manager who wasn't given any of my information and esse

I'd like to feel your pain, but I have a project I've been working on for seven years that has 60x more stars and 10x more watchers than your project. It's used by a multitude of businesses and tens of thousands of developers

I am sending this message from the year 2025. Things are looking bleak here, and some of you will carry blood on your hands. If you don't believe me, please move on, as I have no way of proving to you I'm really who I claim to be.

I've had a bad feeling about Dave McClure and 500 Startups since their Geeks on a Plane trip to India. I was living in India at the time with a few other American open-source engineers. I reached out to 500 Startups and GOAP several ti

Try not to be discouraged. I wouldn't worry too much about it. You should be okay keeping the Bottery name. I don't see this project as something Google will be supporting in the long or mid-term.
