I feel like people just don't know how to deal with trollish people like elon or trump, best you can do is ignore them and they lose the one thing they live for: attention.

Hear me out: Privatize all ISPs and run them USPS style (gov owned, non-gov board operated). Not just email but the internet is more vital than USPS, there is a reason it was never made fully private. New ISPs should still be allowed like f

Cool. > a black hole doesn't have to have any rotation at all. How about the gravity or hawking radiation it emanates. I am actually surprised that matter falling into a blackhole isn't whirlpooling around it.

But the best and most successful do #1 well and use the results from it to exaggerate or emphasise their work. Spend the first 60-70% of your day on the latter and the rest+afterwork doing work. I hate homework with passion and never unders

You can say it is neccesary, but presenting achievements is performance, therefore performative. Powerpoint theatrics are not a bad thing, unless you spend most if your time on it.

I don't wanna stoke anyone's ego. But there are people whose work I've used or refernced many times that pop up on HN and comment or post. Not always with a ton of karma either.
