I agree it's the hipster thing to do. Also if partaking in popcorn do the jiffy pop on the stovetop.

time, it's all about time or lack of it. So if a person is hiring and goes to your website... they aren't going to type help, then resume, then open the pdf... which could be infested with malware (just kidding). too many clicks.

Automation: less jobs, Government (at least in Europe/Cdn) say more people we need to import more people to fill the jobs... but millions of jobs will disappear over the next 10 yrs.

maybe true in Silicon valley but more concerning is the age of companies... and how long their life is (very short). there are many opportunities for IT workers in non-tech companies. (just my opinion and I'm older mid 40's)
