as I understand it, the chances are very slim, but a solution might be to "ban" addresses with stolen coins from making transations... but there probably always will be a black market.

too bad they are not as rigorous with the food we eat. One example is that they don't even have the resources to check if the food manufacturers claims are true (you can't be sure what type of fish you eat nowadays).

I think that you have a good point. But these "tiny" amounts could easily double/triple the politician's salaries (if the companies spend it in the right places, they don't need to bribe everybody).
