Which social network was this? Did it require real names to be a user 2 years ago? Most people unfortunately don't care about anonymity even if they should.

3G is a little better then dialup while 4G is more like WiFi-802.11G

one reason might be that the market is much smaller for those then for fans or filters separately (smaller order quantities for the manufacturer = higher costs)

When I setup a file-server for myself, I set it up on the local network I use most, so the Internet speed is relevant, but not that much.
