Mise just works and takes maybe 1-2 minutes to explain and have a tool running on a team members machine in my experience. I couldn't get into nix, too complicated for me and I've yet to find a resource that makes it click for me.

Pyright by default because it's a LSP so I get to go definition, find references, etc... as well as the type checking in neovim. It's Pylance as part of the Python plugin in VS Code. Just make sure you go to the settings in Vs cod

Zsh autosuggestions Zsh syntax highlighting Fzf-tab Paired with zoxide and fzf for the zsh keyboard shortcuts are all I need to be very productive. Starship.rs is very useful as well as a theme but pure and pl10k are also great.

Not podman but using rancher desktop and it has either nerdctl + containerd or docker and dockerd options and I have been using it a month without issue replacing docker desktop. The kubernetes options work well too

Very impressive. Currently been using a custom version of Iosevka to mimic Pragmata but this looks - to me at least - an improvement on Fira and Jetbrains.
