- donatj 3y agoPocket Casts is great. The Desktop app is what really sold me on it. I’m grandfathered in from paying for it when it was a paid app.
- KeplerBoy 3y agoI'm also grandfathered in but apparently they recently introduced a new tier above plus members called "patron". No idea why anyone would pay for this, but damn do I dislike all this subscription stuff.
- xeromal 3y agoSo I bought pocket cast in 2015 according to my Gmail history. Do you know how to activate a legacy app? Thanks!
- science4sail 3y agoTry logging in (or doing a password reset) with your old Gmail account
- gtirloni 3y agoYour account should have the lifetime Plus plan, just log in. https://blog.pocketcasts.com/2019/09/18/major-new-update/ https://blog.pocketcasts.com/2019/09/18/major-new-update/
- xeromal 3y agoAh, I think my purchase predates the web app so I'm not entitled to plus. Makes sense.
- 10729287 3y agoSame here. One of the few non open source app i'm pretty sure it will never let me down (Fingers crossed). If I remember correctly they perfectly behaved each time they could have screwed up the relationship by the past.
- Idiot211 3y agoThey actually open sourced the iOS and Android applications, not the server code of course. But that's even more of a fun thing from them!
