Yup, this is a huge problem on my company's website. We really like reCaptcha but, alas, have to fall back to our home-rolled version because reCaptcha completely fails for our Chinese users.

Fiorina also ran for president and she used her experience at HP as a talking point for how she was a good candidate. It boggles the mind.

> you can actually use your time for something useful or enjoyable I'm doing something enjoyable. I'm cruising down the freeway with the windows open, good tunes on the radio, and I can choose to go anywhere I desire.

In most cases, a home isn't going to be rented forever. At some point properties get liquidated by the owner. If it's an individual, most likely at retirement or when they don't feel like managing the properties anymore. F

Also, what's the significance of the muscle groups involved? Swimming is much more upper-body intense than the lower-body intense exercise of running. One would think the heart is much more 'exercised' trying to keep large

For those that don't know, the Empire Builder from Seattle stops in Spokane to hook up with a train that is coming from Portland. The combined train then goes all the way to Chicago. If either are delayed it can result in waiting for

It's not just governments. I contracted at Nike for a project that had a boatload the developers. I was on the UI team and there were 6 of us building a UI the size of which I had built (almost) alone at the previous place I worked.

Getting in to college in the mid-90s wasn't as hard as it is now. I can't speak for USC, but when I started college in 1995 there were no concerns from the guidance counselors with my grades and SATs to get into any public school

The kids who only got in with some SAT fudging, like Felicity Huffman's daughter, were probably just below requirements to get into some of these universities. I read somewhere else that USC has so many applicants that if you don'

It's not. TESC has been this way for a long time, it's nothing new to the people of WA. I'm 42 and went to a public university in the state, we all knew what TESC was back then, everyone who went there and goes there knows

Townhomes, at least in the Portland OR suburbs, cost exactly the same as stand alone homes while being typically smaller, sometimes with a one-car garage, and maybe only a small backyard (sometimes no backyard). While the list price of the

My wife managed a department at a craft store and one day their sound system broke. She said that was worse than the repetitive music. Retail spaces are not designed for good acoustics and that music really drowns out a lot of even more n

As an Oregonian, I hate this system. It's old, archaic and now pointless. The idea behind it was to increase recycling of cans and bottles, and it did it's job. In the 70s and 80s, it was great to push that for the social good.
