Far-fetched and irrelevant. In the original case, a police officer isn't asking for information about a random person. They are asking about stolen goods and who now owns the account of the stolen item.

1. I think it's fair to assume that data on websites is for them to use as they see fit and not how the customer sees fit. I expect nothing less of any corporation. 2. Yes, give police the data of someone who is in possession of stolen pr

You do understand that you don't have to have warrant to get details or records from someone? If a police officer asks me for an associate's address, I always have the option of just giving it to them. Sure there are compliance issues whe

My wife and I have 3 Dyson vacuums. We purchased one and then acquired a couple more over the years. Two are standard room/floor vacuums and another is more like a carpet/floor 'broom'. They are expensive but all have worked flawlessly.

Wow, it just almost seems impossible that an indie game can be that successful. It's unfortunate that it's such a rarity, I'm sure there are hundreds of great games out there that languish. If anyone wonders, the PC version is not the best

Ilya's mother reportedly said, "I strongly believe that if Ilya did not start this project and stayed in school, he would be well and alive today." I agree on the startup stress but you have to admit that the above quote isn't fair either

Ugh, "Bong Hits for Jesus". That SCOTUS decision sincerely and utterly gnaws at my core. One of the worst decisions in the last 30 years.

Seconded. I'll add that a professor who might be even remotely associated with the field may know people at other institutions or in industry. This could pay off down the line when you are looking for employment. Also, if it's school sanct

I think a free N. Korea would be different than a free Iraq. While it would be a burden on S. Korea, I would imagine that a unified peninsula is of interest to them. China is something else and continues to prop up that government. N. Kor

It does bring up an interesting ethical scenario with respect to 3D printing. You can ban the sale of high-capacity magazines all you want, but if it's simple to just make one with a 3D printer the point of the law is completely moot. Sin

Hah, I felt exactly the same way. How ever will the parents with 4 kids making $650k per year ever be able to survive without that $21k taken in taxes? Will they not be able to remodel that master bath at their 2nd beach home in Nantucket
