I'd also argue that if there is one product or service that Wordpad has reasonable grounds to recommend, it's Word.

Quite a lot of negativity from HN so far, so I'll add some counter. I've been using the Firefox preview since it was announced and overall have found it to be a vast improvement on the previous incarnation. Tab management is much

Some content creators are already doing this. I'm seeing more spinning up their own newsletters or RSS feeds, patreons, direct donations, subscriptions services (or completely independent platforms). There is an awareness of the danger

If I need to combine a bunch of files in a 'union' or 'concat' type fashion I will usually use UNIX tools or perl. Ditto for dropping or re-arranging columns or filtering out entries. The syntax is usually very terse and

I find cliqz is very good at natural language queries, but doesn't have the index size a lot of the time. You either end up with 10 results that are exactly what you were searching for or nothing.

On a related note, I haven't seen any publisher or content producer sell "licence only" i.e. I pay them for the right to be able to own/view the content. This could either be a "buy direct, acquire elsewhere" o
