   What was the reason to first migrate and then repair data? Repair scripts could've been ran against the old setup too and you would've had less stuff to migrate.

   Merkle tree code that helps run Bitcoin was written by a grandpa aged person, cryptographic nonces were created by grandpas also and Satoshi and Hal Finney were of the grandpa group too. This generation can thank the last three generations
