I believe you get 6 sessions on the NHS, but the therapist can recommend you for more if they think it's warranted.

You can atomic swap BTC to XMR to obscure where the coins came from but you would have to then launder them to get fiat. I'm not sure how that's done, buying gift cards could be part of it. I think in many cases the coins are just

What is a node in this context and what does designing a new node entail? Does this design process mean TSMC can do something with ASML machines that another company with the same machine couldn't do?

Ask HN: Why is TSMC so competitive in semiconductor fabrication?

Shorter than a year suits me. My goal with contracting is to have time off between contracts to have more energy and time to bootstrap some business ideas. It is a shame this legislation passed, I understand the concern about hidden employe

It's really a missed opportunity. In medieval times, we would have created a Programmers' Guild, kept the AI for ourselves, made up some reason AI can't generate code, automated everyone else out of a job, and been the master

Since current AI only generates code that has some similarity to code it's seen before, I suspect this will only be an issue for people doing low code or making relatively simple CRUD applications and the like, at least for the foresee

You can contract outside IR-35 still, no? At least there were some advertised on LinkedIn last time I looked. If the contract is outside IR-35 then you can still claim expenses and pay corporate tax instead of (most) income tax.

This seems like a bit of a reach. "Move fast and break things" to me means take risks, don't get bogged down in process or do the same thing everyone else is doing. I don't see how you get from that to stabbing people. Y

I have a daily cronjob that runs Clam AV, rkhunter and a few others on my Linux laptop & home server. Never really detected anything but I don't even notice the scan running, contrary to any AV software I used on Windows.

The drawings one is weird. In the case of the "decoy" being of age, it doesn't matter because the person intended to abuse a child. But a drawing? It's disgusting but I don't see why it should be a crime.

This is my view. Why recreate human intelligence when we already have human intelligence? AGI would be cool but we can already train AI to do specific tasks better than humans, that's good enough.

I think they learned from Microsoft Tay what happens if you train AI online without a curation process.
