What is inherently wrong with co-branded product? Do you have any data to back up "exiting players"? I don't think we really have a good read on that. The MagicCons I've been to have been increasingly packed with people.

They're in a tough spot because they have to keep several audiences happy: collectors and players. Players generally want the cheapest set pieces while collectors want the value of their collection to grow. I think WotC has done a dece

This got me to take a look at the Rails site and go through the Getting Started tutorial. It's really well-written and is probably amongst the best documentation I've seen out there. I would love to do more projects in Rails now.

Ever since I went to Stash Café in Montreal, I get Polish food wherever I can: https://restaurantstashcafe.ca/en/home-english . There is something about Polish food that feels like it's universally comforting to al

This is going to sound like a real dumb reason to avoid a Tesla but it disappoints me that they don't have Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. I tried them in rental cars over the past year and now that's a must-have in my next car.

I was very close to buying an EV this summer but ended up not getting it. It felt like I could get an equivalent ICE car for about $20K cheaper. I did a lot of research about EV charging and the more I read the more I felt I didn't und

I recently found out you can do that on one of the roads to the entrance of the Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy museum in Dulles. Nowhere near as Gravely Point, but it will do in a pinch.

My takeaway is that clustering is a distress signal and that reducing distress would be the humane thing to do assuming that insects feel pain.

I was curious as to why an algorithmic trading firm is sponsoring this. What's in it for them?

I'm asking this question out of ignorance: if you were able to do this, why would you make it public for $10MM instead of keeping it private and exploiting it. Say, in algorithmic trading models?

Oh wow, this is a huge surprise! As a user of ChatGPT, I've been very impressed with what I've seen and this has sent shockwaves through the computing industry. I'm disappointed to see him leave but I guess we need to wait to

Have you worked with people at the same professional level outside of FAANG? There are a lot of companies outside of those BigCo tech companies that pay well without the stressors that you mention.

Once they broke Google Assistant integration, I decided to replace them and never use any of their products again. I use a lot of connected devices and this is the only company that has gone backwards in terms of interop over time.

Spreadsheets: the original no-code platform. I like it. Infinitely scalable, easy to update. Most of the time when I go to an artist's site it's to find tour dates or merch. This does both okay.

It sounds like to get these experiences I'm going to have to go far out of my way and pay a lot of money. Our ancient ancestors got it for free, and I wonder if they thought anything of it.
