Sorry, but am I missing something? I'm currently watching a video on Vimeo with Safari 5 & plugins disabled. All you need to do is to click the "Switch to HTML5 player" link.

So true. Before my kid was born (now 1½ years old), I optimistically thought I'll be able to work at home while baby caring, which turned out to be very naïve idea. It may work with a newborn, but definitely doesn't with a toddler.

Same here, configuring my KDE desktop used to be a hobby for me. With OS X, besides setting the desktop background, the only customization I do is hiding the dock and mapping caps lock to control. I also prefer built-in software to 3rd-part

I'm a vegan and it ain't cheap. Although nowadays you can buy most vegan stuff from regular supermarket, they are still kind of marginal products and priced accordingly. E.g. soya milk costs more than 2 €/L, while cow-milk is less than 1 eu

Interesting article, but a whopping quarter of kilowatt to every seat? Isn't that a bit overkill? Assuming that typical laptop charger drinks 80 joules of energy per second at most, and since laptops luckily have built-in energy sources for

I don't own an Air, but the idea is tempting. I have 27" iMac and old 13" black MacBook, and while I really enjoy my workstation with the former¹, I've found myself to work on the MacBook more oftenly – as a laptop, it's always with me, and
