Honestly I cannot avoid a feel that Apple has lost its sense of taste and iOS UI was redone just because of outside pressure and nobody with enough authority having the final word.

Minifying production-deployed code is fine (although gzipping largely eliminates benefits of minifying). If the code is open-sourced, the unminified version is available. If not, the code is not meant to be debugged by you anyway. (I agree,

VLC is excellent player. For OS X, there is also open-source software Perian which brings support for wide range of video decoders as a QuickTime component.

This is not exactly my area of speciality, but could you use iptables to limit incoming connections to your Node.js port? http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/howto-limit-linux-syn-attacks....

Video projectors has also been "mainstream" for years and scream for 4K technology. > I think it's a mistake to assume the existing sizes and viewing distances will remain the same into the future. Exactly!

I wonder if they ever considered hub motors for better efficiency and quieter operation (no belt), or would it be too big technical challenge to custom-build (basically the wheel and motor would be single integrated unit).

It's easy to boost with specs when the competing products can be bought right now while your product exists only on a drawing board.

Please read again what I wrote above. I'm not saying every button should look identical or you shouldn't use classes at all.

Totally agree. Here the author (of the original post) contradicts himself. Users of OS X have chosen to use a UI with tiny hiding scrollbars and likely are accustomed for that. Let the browser natively handle the scrollbars, any custom hack

My point is that <button> already means a button and can be selected for default styling with 'button' or 'button.delete' selectors (by the framework and by you for overwriting). Ditto for [disabled], etc. (... als

Keeping a passenger aircraft at constant speed of 600 mph is not realistic with the current (or near-future) battery technology, even if the initial kinetic energy comes "for free".

Safari itself does not magically eat your CPU but websites running badly written javascript do. (Not to mention the infamous plugin thingy from Adobe, which any sane person will disable anyway.) So, the CPU usage of Safari totally depends o

Very nice, but the design is a bit tiny (font size etc), given that the amount of information needed to display is not big.
