You can have both of the worlds. Go to a coworking space, or try to reach other remote workers in your city and invite them to your place (or go to theirs).

Good luck with that mate. They make it hard to legit users, yet, scammers keep popping around without issues.

They don't care. Scammers are just numbers like everyone else. What matters is the numbers and generated traffic so that they can charge for ad prints, who cares if they're real people, cats, dogs, bots or scammers.

I usually check up compatibility with Home Assistant and if the service is cloud or if it can work locally. If both check, they have a new customer, otherwise, there are plenty of brands and products out there. Protest with your wallet, buy

No, however, I do know that a big national company does this because the customers need to upload data directly. IMHO they should use an API instead, so no, I don't see any reason to do it. I wouldn't do it, it's a major secu

You don't. If the information is valueable enough it will be scrapped, you can use captchas, logins and all the tips and tricks available, but at the end of the day, if a dev wants to scrape the info, it will.

It's not spam, you've accepted the terms when registering. Now, you need to shut it off in Linkedin itself, not in the e-mail provider. Real spammers don't give you an option to opt out, some even include fake "unsubscri

My kid got locked out while I was away. Lauched Telegram, sent my Home Assistant bot a message to open the door covers; sent new message to unlock door and turn off the alarm. Done.

I'm failing to see the utility of this if I still have to type the IP address. Also, it fails using local address like 192-168-1-1.backname.io where it might be usefull somehow, so, please explain. Thanks.

I'm pretty happy with Gitea, does the job, simple to set up and now it support actions with multiple runners. Tried gitlab, was a nightmare to set up and consumed a lot of resources.

You don't need K8s for that, only gitea (with actions enabled) and a server running docker. Actions (like Github Actions) will take care of building, deploying and restarting the container.

The easiest way would be running K3S scripts. You'll have a master and multiple nodes running in minutes. Managing it however... it's a whole different thing.

A bit unfair that title mate. That's a single app in a million apps. Yes, there's poor and low standard apps in the market, but that can happen regardless of the underlying OS. My only problem with Android is that Google doesn

You're asking the wrong questions. Buy yourself a new phone/computer/SIM card and get rid of the ones you own. If you cannot even prove it, you're just wasting your time. Having dealt with a paranoid customer in the past

You tell all over the site that Flurly only charges 1% but then at "Pricing" says: 1% + 2.9% + other fees. Care to explain that? I see it like: here's a new iphone, 1$, cheapest in the market. And then at small print: 1$ + 99
