Code should be written to be understood without that context. If comments and documentation aren’t enough context for the code to be understood, it probably isn’t written very well.

If twenty percent of the population has had covid, and fifty percent has been vaccinated, say we assume half of the twenty percent isn’t an overlap. Wouldn’t that put us much closer to the herd immunity number of seventy percent than we’ve

So the hackers stole every environment variable for the context in which the Codecov script was run. It means that if you use CI to deploy your code, all of your credentials have been leaked.

This is just made up statistics. Also, a gun doesn’t have to be shown to someone to act as a deterrent. I’m not saying that I think guns are effective or not, but when I see arguments like this that cherry pick statistics or make up stories

You say that self defense is near the bottom of real uses for fired personal weapons. That’s not a useful metric because a gun doesn’t need to be fired to be a deterrent.

What is the point of your comment? The article you linked shows that getting the money back was extraordinary- he got pro bono legal support and spent years in court to get it back. This was despite never being charged with a drug crime...w

Can someone explain how they managed to do this? I've never seen anything like it! Perhaps all the text is rendered via JS and re-rendering in an infinite loop where the CSS switches the padding of the div surrounding the text back and
