Thanks. I think it would be difficult for me to live off of that amount of money, considering that taxes would eat up over half of it. But it's cool to see that some are able to do it. I think the dream of most people is to not sell th

Nice game, I almost got to 20k in score. Are these games viable financially nowadays? It feels like most people don't play games in the browser anymore, and those who do don't spend much money, and often run ad blockers. Can you l

It seems intentional. H1 and paragraphs placed in headers don't have any margin. header h1, header p { margin: 0; }

The Quest 2 has a few things that prevents me from using it for long sessions. 1. It's way too heavy, which makes it uncomfortable. 2. It gets too hot. 3. It lacks a hinge that would make it possible to easily flip it open, while it&#x

I've actually thought about creating something like this. It looks pretty good for combating RSI. Because it would allow you to have your arms in any position. However, I think it would be necessary to have two of them, one in each han

I'm not the one you responded to, but I just wanted to add that it's still not steno. CharaChorder just has chording, but no theories, or whatever you call them for steno. You basically have to memorize every single chord on the C

Care to elaborate why that would be more problematic than any other app that hasn't been updated or maintained in that period of time?

Out of curiosity, why do you need to use "margin-left: auto" when working with flexbox items? What is it that you're trying to do, which can't be solved with "justify-content" and "align-items"?

I use it on my phone as my default browser. There's a toggle on the search page to switch between US and local search results. Doesn't that work for you?

I can't play fast-paced FPS games either due to RSI, but luckily there are plenty of more casual games as well. I recently bought Demeo (table top game) to play with my brother, and it was pretty fun. :)

Cool idea, here's some feedback. It looks nice on my phone (although it's really slow to load, and laggy when scrolling). However, on my 1440p 32" monitor it's really bad. First of all everything is HUGE, and it seems li

Then what do they mean to you? I think people are just trying to understand. What is "fast" and "efficient" to you? Where do you draw the line? When it comes to tech in particular, things are pretty much always compared

I guess it depends on your view of a technical paper. But I guess we can both at least agree that it would be useful to have graceful degradation, right? It allows for the ability to easily share it across multiple mediums.

Really cool, but the examples don't work well for me. One scroll step with my mouse on Windows is enough to scroll past some of the intermediary animations. A lot of information is lost because of that. I have to slowly drag the scroll

Vite only uses Rollup for the production build step. During development it uses ESBuild for pre-bundling, and then serves everything as native ESM, that's why it's so fast. They might get rid of Rollup in the future if ESBuild gai

Where exactly do you find these prices in Hetzner Cloud? They appear to be at a minimum twice as expensive to me. A 16 vCPU and 32GB RAM server costs €59.38 per month. If you want dedicated vCPU then you'll have to pay €166.48 per mont

What is a protected class? I don't understand why harassment would be fine against some, but not others. That sound like the very thing that a CoC is meant to prevent.

So if I understood it correctly this is a toolkit for building both desktop and app GUIs? It's a cool product, but someone needs to rework the design, both in terms of UI and UX. I think it will be a hard sell otherwise.

What if I told you that you can have a modern site without the bloat? You can improve accessibility without making it more difficult for the user to tweak things. So many people here on HN think it's all or nothing. But that couldn
