Isn't the average for software developers in the US ~100k(before taxes)? Assuming that high earners are offsetting that to the higher end, most people aren't making 6 figures, and the bar isn't which language they're pro

It's unique in that it's a country with h western values with relatively underdeveloped worker protections. Sure places like Saudi have literal slavery, but they don't pretend to value life either.

I agree, it's only a luxury because it's being taken away so we should support those fighting to keep it when it doesn't make any sense for them to RTO.

That's a weird way to say: "Companies are taking more of people time for the same pay, in addition to requiring unpaid commute time". I usually don't like when I work more for less, do you?

I'm confused how this can be your opinion while you're also spending time on this website responding to people. Why are you not just asking chatgpt "what's the latest tech news"? Could it be that there's someth

If they're talking to the people who are part of the project I'd hope the answer would contain detail and not expect to be taken as authoritative.

How does that make any sense? If increasing the price hasn't decreased the abuse, why would increasing it more decrease the abuse?

Wouldn't the "source code" of the model be closer to the source code of a compiler or the runtime library? IMO a pre-trained model given with the source code used to train/run it is analogous to a company shipping a comp

What changes with your analysis with the understanding that apple holds the signing keys for the PCC nodes? How does the client verify that the code running on the PCC is the code that has been audited publicly, and not a modified version l

Oh yea one more comment, this stdin redirection isn't really necessary in minecraft from the last decade. The minecraft server has a built-in RCON server running on a separate port than can be enabled( https://wiki.vg/RC

Basically, you setup the standard minecraft service and then create a "socket" in systemd to use as stdin for the process(relevant documentation in systemd.socket and systemd.exec). For me this looks like -- /etc/systemd

VMs are free and can be run by any semi-competent developer wanting to host a test server on their development machine. Postgres and Redis can use non-privileged ports, so I don't understand why this would matter.
