Well to be honest few people ARE using it now. PK crypto has failed since its inception. It's never been widely adopted. PK has been too hard to implement and manage. In contrast to say openssh which everyone uses.

I was just this evening going through the "what if I started a wisp? How many pops? How much bandwidth? What would it take?" I've done this off and on since 1990 when breezecom was around. Getting access to rooftops is infini

This will fail. On an EPIC scale. Google, google , failed with fiber. They are enormous and have mountains of cash to burn and still when they hit the cities to deploy, slammed into the granite wall of monopoly telco and cable co regulatio

Look at how long they tolerated Flash. Just like Justice, the wheels at Apple turn slowly.

This is why i never understood the willingness of people to shove all their data into the cloud, nor will i ever condone the use of or use the "cloud". Stop being lazy. Own your data.

I don't follow rugby as close as I should to ask this question but I don't recall having heard or read anything regarding that sport and head trauma. And it is just as contact driven as football. Is it just not as popular and henc

Haha well said! I think about this every freaking day. ZFS is about the only pice of software I use I don't literally want to grab the author(s) by the throat and choke them, asking, "Seriously?? you think this tire fire is easy t

My understanding was you can use a trademarked name but only if it was in an unrelated category. Clearly no one will confuse a phone running Oreo with a cookie you eat and dip in milk. now if google made a cookie and called it oreo, they wo

That's not quite as interesting to me as the fact that no one has cracked this nut yet. No one. You've got the top tech companies on the planet trying to be first and as of yet not one of them has managed it. I thought Apple would

What floors me is how no one has disrupted this field yet. I have seen a few ground zero startups trying to disrupt healthcare. Make it more effecient, cut out fraud, etc but so far no one is making a dent. Why is it so hard for some smart

This is appalling. As an avid fly fisherman, these farms are disgusting. You can see how sick these fish are at the local costco. They put the farm raised salmon fillets right next to the wild salmon fillets. They are pale pink compared to

Yeah, that is what I keep saying every time these "bitcoin is not anonymous" stories pop up. Ditch it and use a cryptocurrency that was designed, engineered and built with anonymity and privacy in mind, like Monero.

I use Lyx to write, well, almost everything honestly. It was made for writing imo. Leaving all the time wasting details for the core processor not for the author to stress over. It just lets you focus on simply writing the content.
